Day-visitor flow

From gate to clubhouse

What to expect when you arrive, in sequence.

  1. Book in advance

Reserve your tee time online or by calling the pro shop. Weekends and peak season fill early. We hold a small number of walk-in slots for same-day visitors, but cannot guarantee availability.

  2. Arrive 20 minutes early

Check in at the pro shop. If you have a handicap certificate, bring it — members' competitions and some visiting groups require proof. We do not require one for casual green-fee play.

  3. Warm up on the range

The practice area includes a driving range of over 200 m with 50 bays (25 covered), plus a pitching green and putting green. Arrive early if you want the full warm-up.

  4. On the course

The championship 18 holes take around four hours to walk. The 7-hole executive course is a quicker alternative. Course marshals operate at weekends and during competitions.

  5. The clubhouse

Bar del Golf is a short walk from the 18th green, with a veranda over the course and views that turn to panoramic sunsets as play winds down. It also hosts the club's outdoor events.

What to bring

The essentials

  • Golf clubs (hand and electric trolleys available to hire)
  • Golf shoes — soft or hard spikes, both acceptable
  • Waterproof layer — the valley catches afternoon cloud off the Apennines
  • Sun protection — summer months can be intense
  • Handicap certificate if playing in a club competition
  • Cash or card — the pro shop accepts both; contactless preferred

Dress code

Smart casual on the course

  • Collared shirts required on the course and in the clubhouse
  • Tailored shorts are accepted; denim is not
  • Golf shoes required on the course and putting green
  • Tracksuits and football shirts are not permitted on the course
  • Bar del Golf has no formal dress code — smart casual is fine

The pro shop stocks a small selection of club-branded polo shirts and waterproofs if you arrive underprepared.

Itineraries

One day, two days, or a week

Suggested itineraries built around the round, with the Valmarecchia, San Marino, and the Adriatic coast on either side of your tee time.

One day

A round, a bite, the towers at dusk

Morning tee time, a light lunch on the veranda, then a drive to San Marino for golden hour on the Three Towers. A complete day in the Valmarecchia.

Two days

Two rounds, two republics

Stay overnight at one of our partner hotels in Rimini or the countryside. Add Verucchio's Rocca and an extra round on the executive course.

Three days

Hills, coast, and culture

Add San Leo's fortress, the Tiberius Bridge in Rimini, and Santarcangelo di Romagna. Dinner in the piazza on the final evening.
